Back to the Woods is the twenty-third Columbia Pictures short subject starring the Three Stooges.
Plot[]
It is colonial times and the stooges are trialed by an English court for fighting with some guards. They are sentenced to protect the colonies from the Indians. The governor tries to make peace with the Indians, but the Indian chief demands too high a price for the pilgrims to pay for hunting privileges, so things look dark. The stooges decide that they need to hunt for the colonist anyway and run into a load of trouble with the Indians.
